The 12th edition of the Luxembourg Internet Days (LID) will take place on 18 and 19 November 2025. It is organised by LU‐CIX and hosted by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg.

What are Luxembourg Internet Days?

Organised by LU-CIX, over the years the Luxembourg Internet Days have become the ‘must-attend Internet event of the Greater Region’.

Over two days, more than 1,200 ICT professionals, decision-makers, experts and public stakeholders meet to discuss key issues related to security, sovereignty, the cloud, networks and digital resilience.

For the 2025 edition:

• Free and open access , upon registration
• More than 40 thematic conferences and workshops
• An exhibition area with more than 45 stands
• High-level meetings and many networking opportunities

Theme 2025: Security • Sovereignty • Resilience

This 12th edition will focus on the central issue of European digital sovereignty, in the face of the dominance of major non-European cloud players.

Some key questions that will guide the discussions:

• If 90% of European data is hosted by non-European cloud giants, is our sovereignty under threat?
• Does dependence on these infrastructures jeopardise our security and resilience?
• Are there sovereign and viable alternatives for Europe?

Participants will be able to attend debates, technical workshops and round tables to explore these crucial issues and identify concrete solutions.
