About the initiative
The independent information platform Kredit-Daten, which is based in Germany, offers a free 71-page educational booklet in German on financial literacy for the secondary education, vocational education and other learning contexts.
What does the initiative offer?
The resource combines financial literacy with digital and media literacy, addressing topics such as digital and smartphone payments, digital financial products, crypto-assets, online financial information, social media influences on financial decisions, credit scoring and data-based assessments. Learners are encouraged to critically evaluate digital financial offers and risks, assess information and alternatives, and make informed decisions in increasingly digital financial environments.
The booklet includes 21 printable worksheets, practical examples, calculations, checkpoints, solution outlines, competency grids and source-based exercises. It is free to use for educational purposes and available without registration.
