The Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA) is pleased to announce that registrations are now closing for its highly anticipated Tech Summer Camps, taking place from July through September 2025. These immersive programmes, designed for children and teenagers aged between 6 and 17 depending on the course, have attracted an outstanding response, with spaces filling up rapidly across all six initiatives scheduled for this summer.

Young minds across Malta and Gozo are invited to embark on an exciting journey into the world of technology and innovation. Whether beginners or passionate tech enthusiasts, participants will engage in hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, confidence, and essential digital skills to thrive in tomorrow’s digital world.

The diverse range of programmes includes:

MCAST Paola Summer Schools (4 to 8 weeks):

  • Future Innovators (ages 13–15) | 14 July – 15 September 2025
    A broad tech exploration covering Cybersecurity, 3D Printing, eSports, Robotics with Raspberry Pi, Digital Video, Artificial Intelligence, Game Development and Coding.
  • Future Innovators Plus (ages 13–15) | 18 August – 15 September 2025
    Advanced modules focusing on Artificial Intelligence Plus, 3D Printing Plus, Robotics with Raspberry Pi Plus, and Game Development Plus.
  • Robotech Summer School (ages 13–17) | 19 August – 16 September 2025
    Specialised training in robotics and engineering.

University of Malta, Msida Bootcamps (5 days each):

  • Tech Trek Bootcamp (ages 13–15) | 7 July – 11 July 2025
    Intensive learning in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analysis, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Logic and Problem Solving, and Game Design.
  • xPloring Intelligence Bootcamp (ages 11–13) | 15 September – 19 September 2025
    Focused on Ethics of Deepfake Media, Machine Learning, Ethics of Machines, Security, Building a Mobile Application, and the Metaverse.

Gozo College Agius De Soldanis Middle School (6 weeks):

  • Gozo Tech Whiz Summer School (ages 6–12) | 14 July – 29 August 2025
    A playful programme introducing foundational skills in Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and YouTube®/Video Production, encouraging creativity and teamwork.

The first bootcamp, Tech Trek Bootcamp, commences on Monday, 7 July 2025, at the University of Malta, marking the start of an action-packed summer filled with interactive, practical experiences. These programmes aim to equip Malta’s youth with vital digital skills—ranging from robotics and coding to AI and cybersecurity—preparing them for future opportunities in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
