Girls in ICT Talks 2025

We are excited to announce the return of the “Girls in ICT Talks” project, which kicked off on Friday, 31st January 2025. The first two talks took place at Agius de Soldanis Middle School in Victoria, Gozo, and at the Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary School, Gozo with over 150 Year 7 girls attending from both schools.

Ms. Ediana Guillaumier delivered the talks with great skill and enthusiasm. The “Girls in ICT Talks” initiative plays a crucial role in promoting gender equality and inspiring young women to pursue careers in technology.

The talks are organized in collaboration with the Malta Digital Innovation Agency (MDIA), Career Guidance at the National School Support Services (NSSS) of the Ministry of Education, and the Department of Digital Literacy and Transversal Skills at the Church Secretariat.

A total of 12 talks are planned across various Government and Church schools during the 2025 scholastic year.
