The AIfor Small Businessescourse is free of charge and in a fully digital format, with a modular format and videos of less than 15 minutes, accompanied by various activities. The aim is to “show small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) how to use Artificial Intelligence effectively to accelerate innovation and increase the competitiveness of their businesses

The initiative is promoted by Microsoft and the online training platform Founderz, and is integrated into the PME.AI program, which is part of the Microsoft AI National Skilling Program. This program aims to train six million people in digital skills aligned with the demands of the AI era and was announced this year at Building the Future 2025.

This course is aimed at SMEs, their leaders and teams looking to start exploring AI in a safe, responsible and result-oriented way. The goal is not to be left behind in the digital transition and to be able to compete in an increasingly demanding global market, with small and medium-sized companies representing more than 99% of the Portuguese business fabric.

The course program has a modular structure and addresses several points, from the fundamentals of AI and its strategic evolution to practical applications such as prompting, automation and agents.
