Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) is a public research institution in Styria, Austria. Established in 1811 by Archduke John of Austria, it is the country’s oldest institute dedicated to science and technology education and research. TU Graz consists of seven faculties and offers a diverse range of academic programs, including 19 bachelor’s and 36 master’s degrees, with 20 of the master’s programs taught in English. Doctoral studies are conducted through 14 English-language doctoral schools. The university has a student body of over 17,000, with approximately 1,900 graduates each year. TU Graz also collaborates closely with the University of Graz, particularly in the fields of natural sciences.
