The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is the EU agency responsible for implementing the EU Space Programme, ensuring that Europe’s investment in space delivers tangible benefits for citizens, businesses and public authorities.
With a strong focus on the downstream space sector, EUSPA supports the development, security and uptake of space-based services and applications, turning satellite data and signals into practical solutions that support EU policies, innovation and competitiveness. The Agency contributes in particular to programmes such as Galileo, EGNOS and the user uptake of Copernicus services.
Based in Prague, EUSPA works closely with the European Commission and a wide range of stakeholders to maximise the socio-economic impact of EU space capabilities and strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy in space.
