This call for tenders, launched by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency, aims to strengthen the skills base of the European space sector. The contract will support the identification of current and future skills gaps across the European space economy, the design and implementation of strategic upskilling and reskilling actions, and the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) within the European space and defence ecosystems. It also seeks to develop replicable training materials, strengthen cooperation between industry and education providers, and improve the long-term competitiveness and resilience of the European space workforce.
Areas

Analysis of current and future skills gaps across the European space economy and validation of findings through stakeholder consultations.

Design, implementation and evaluation of strategic upskilling and reskilling actions to address identified workforce needs.

Development of training materials, educational resources and recommendations to support long-term skills development in the space sector.

Assessment and promotion of EDI through policy analysis, surveys, guidance materials and practical tools.

Capacity-building and stakeholder engagement through the DIVERIS network, webinars, annual events, newsletters and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on EDI.
