The StandICT.eu 2029 Open Call 2 provides financial support to European experts to participate in international ICT standardisation activities and to organisations hosting international standardisation meetings.. The programme aims to strengthen Europe’s role in global standard-setting by enabling specialists to contribute to standards development within Standards Developing Organisations (SDOs) and related technical fora. In this call, particular emphasis is placed on standardisation work related to artificial intelligence and high-risk AI systems, supporting the implementation of European regulatory and policy priorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Individuals residing or organisations based in EU Member States and countries associated to the Horizon Europe Programme

Individual applicants must be standardisation experts or ICT specialists willing to start contributing to standardisation
Funding

Long-term contribution: up to 10.000 EUR for activities lasting up to 9 months

Short-term contribution: up to 5.000 EUR for activities lasting up to 3 months

Organisation of Standard Meetings: up to 50.000 EUR for activities lasting up to 6 months

Total Budget: up to 4.200.000 EUR

Maximum funding for individuals across all calls during the current edition of StandICT is 50.000 EUR
