Policy panel: Who benefits? Adult learning, emerging technologies and digital wellbeing.
This event will close All Digital’s 2026 thematic cycle on “Digital wellbeing for a competitive Europe” and bring the findings of the ETHLAE project to the policy level.
It will bring together policymakers, adult education organisations, civil society and practitioners to discuss who really benefits from emerging technologies in adult learning, how holistic literacy can help adults use technology safely and with confidence, and what this means for future European policy.
The morning will open with a keynote from MAKS, sharing real experiences from adult learning in Brussels. It will be followed by a panel with representatives of EU institutions, civil society, adult education, an open Q&A and a closing interview, with networking over breakfast.
What will be discussed
- Who really benefits when adult learning goes digital, and who gets left behind?
- How can emerging technologies support digital wellbeing and opportunities for adult learners?
- What should Europe do next to make sure no one is left out?
