Europe Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way. The eSkills Malta Foundation is once again coordinating the EU Code Week initiatives. This year Code Week will be held between the 6th and 21st October 2018. As most of you are aware last year Malta ranked first in the number of coding events held per capita.

Cybersecurity has become one of the prominent subjects of this technology era, and this is bound to become more important as we increase our activities in the areas of AI, machine learning, the blockchain and DLT, Internet of Things (IoT), Quantum Computing and other prominent technologies.  It is therefore essential that we give Cybersecurity the importance it deserves.
