As the European Digital Skills Awards 2026 approaches, we are thrilled to announce the finalists!
This edition of EDSA26 received a total of 220 applications across all five categories, highlighting the impressive efforts of organizations from across Europe to strengthen digital skills for every citizen.
The EDSA26 projects are united in helping Europe get in ‘digital shape’, from building basic digital skills to advancing upskilling in every job sector and educational level, promoting inclusion, and increasing women’s participation in the digital world; and they’re showing great success!
The European Commission and the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform’s team selected the 25 finalists for this edition. Let’s get to know them!

Now it is time for the jury, Katharina Kunze, Kotryna Jankūnaitė, Mónica Canário, Stefano Kluzer, and Thomas Layer-Wagner, to choose the final winners and announce them.

The winners will be announced on 30 June 2026 during the EU Skills Day. The DSJP team and the European Commission will celebrate the European Digital Skills Awards 2026 (EDSA26) Ceremony, shining a spotlight on outstanding initiatives that are closing the digital skills gap across Europe. Five winners will be revealed across five award categories, recognising exceptional impact, innovation, and inclusion.
