It is not often that a heatwave strikes Brussels – but when it does, even the usually-short and easily-coverable-by-train distance to the seaside towns scattered across the coasts of the North Sea, starts to stir up anxiety. Yet, as Belgians flocked to nearby beaches, representatives from National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs braved the sweltering hot weather on 1 July 2025 to meet in-person their counterparts, Platform team members, and the European Commission at the 2025 Annual Meeting.
