The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Department for Digital Transformation (DTD) and the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) has created a new synergy aimed at enhancing awareness-raising activities and increasing digital skills on cybersecurity and strengthening citizens’ awareness on the subject. The collaboration starts with a training course dedicated to the operators of the Digital Facilitation Points and includes four interactive webinars carried out by ACN with the aim of providing useful tools and knowledge to support citizens in safe browsing on the web. From an introductory overview on cybersecurity, the subject of the first webinar, we will move on to analyze the threat of phishing and how to prevent it. The third training event will be dedicated to the topic of online purchases, and then conclude with a review of the virtuous behaviors to be implemented to mitigate the risks of user profiling in online browsing. The initiative, in the context of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), involves the more than 3,300 ‘Punti Digitale Facile’ (Easy Digital Points) activated under measure 1.7.2 of the NRRP and the voluntary operators of the Digital Civil Service (measure 1.7.1), together with the more than 280 organisations of the National Coalition for Digital Skills, an integral part of the ‘Digital Republic’strategic programme coordinated by the Department. The training activities also include training materials to support Facilitators, Volunteer Operators and Coalition organisations in providing training courses, workshops and awareness-raising events on the safe and informed use of digital tools. The awareness-raising campaign will also involve the social media channels of the DTD and ACN, with the aim of promoting the activities carried out in the area and disseminating tools and good practices.
