In April, within the framework of the Code4Europe project, the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) announced the application for the EU Code Week support grant programme. Organisations from all over Latvia were invited to apply for support grants to implement digital skills, programming and algorithmic thinking development initiatives throughout Latvia.
Main objectives of the support programme:
- Promote the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable coding and digital skills activities.
- Support initiatives that integrate coding into educational processes and encourage engagement.
- Promote community participation and cooperation between different organisations.
- Accept projects that reduce gender gaps and promote diversity in STEAM education.
