    Europe Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way. The eSkills Malta Foundation is once again coordinating the EU Code Week initiatives. This year Code Week will be held between the 6th and 21st October 2018. As most of you are aware last year Malta ranked first in the number of coding events held per capita.

Encouraging the younger generation to realise that the right digital skills are amongst the most important core skills for employability is a crucial step in addressing the broad challenge of additional skilled resources for 21st century jobs.

  • Digital Education in Schools

    eSkills Malta Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry for Education and Employment organised a half-day event on Digital education in schools on Friday 15th March at the MITA Data Centre, Santa Venera. Everyone now accepts that people from all walks of life will increasingly need digital skills and knowledge. This is because digital technology will be used not only by children or employees at the workplace, but practically everybody, including women at home.
