Notification of Awardees

The EU Code Week Small Grants Scheme continues to strengthen digital education across Europe by empowering schools, educators, and community organisations to bring coding and computational thinking to young people. As part of the wider EU Code Week initiative supported by the European Commission and implemented through the Code4EU Consortium, the scheme provides targeted funding to grassroots projects that inspire creativity, problem solving, and digital confidence among learners of all ages.

This year’s call attracted a diverse range of proposals, each demonstrating a strong commitment to expanding digital skills within local communities. After a thorough evaluation process, we are delighted to announce the top three awardees whose projects stood out for their innovation, impact, and alignment with EU Code Week’s mission.

Congratulations to Our Three Winners
1st Place – €5,000 Award to St Paul’s Missionary College. This project achieved the highest overall score, fully satisfying all eligibility and quality requirements. The proposal demonstrated a clear vision, strong methodology, and a meaningful plan to engage students in hands on digital learning. As the top ranked applicant, the awardee will receive the maximum grant of €5,000 to implement their initiative.
2nd Place – €3,000 Award to Computational Thinking Malta. The second place project impressed evaluators with its creativity and potential for community impact. The €3,000 grant will support the development of activities that bring coding and digital exploration to a wider audience.
3rd Place – €2,000 Award to Nobel Courses. The third ranked proposal demonstrated strong alignment with the programme’s objectives and a thoughtful approach to empowering learners. The €2,000 award will help bring this project to life during the upcoming EU Code Week cycle.

Supporting High Quality Digital Education
