Course Description:
Part 1: Introduction to LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime (30 mins)
• Welcome and icebreaker activity
• Overview of robotics and the SPIKE™ Prime kit
• Introduction to block-based coding interface
Part 2: Getting Started with Robotics (45 mins)
• Building a basic robot model
• Introduction to motors and sensors
• First coding challenge: Making the robot move
Part 3: Solving Real-World Problems (60 mins)
• Applying coding concepts: loops, conditionals, events
• Sensor-based navigation tasks (e.g., obstacle course, colour detection)
• Debugging and testing: refining robot behaviour
Break: 30 mins
Part 4: Team Challenge – Design and Build (60 mins)
• Group-based design task: create a robot to solve a specific challenge
• Planning and prototyping
• Coding and testing phase
Part 5: Showcase and Reflection (45 mins)
• Team presentations of final projects

By the end of the bootcamp, participants will have acquired a range of practical skills
