The European programme SOC4SME aims to strengthen the cybersecurity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering practical solutions and tools that help shield them from ever-increasing digital threats.

Under the auspices of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA), the programme includes the creation of GR-SME-SOC, a specialised Security Operations Center whose mission is to monitor, detect and respond to cyber-attacks in real time.

Objectives and services of the programme

SOC4SME seeks to strengthen the digital resilience of SMEs through:

  • continuous threat monitoring and incident prevention;
  • automated response mechanisms to cyber-attacks;
  • use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for risk analysis,
  • interoperability with national and European cybersecurity authorities.

The programme will be piloted in 120 Greek small and medium-sized enterprises, offering a model of integrated and affordable protection, aligned with the National Cybersecurity Strategy and European standards.

A step towards a safer digital economy

With the implementation of SOC4SME, Greece is taking another step towards creating a more secure and trustworthy digital business environment where small and medium-sized enterprises can operate confidently and invest in their digital growth.
