Funding

Context 

EU Code Week is a grassroots movement supported by the European Commission that promotes digital skills and coding across Europe and beyond. Held each October, it encourages people of all ages, especially students and educators, to explore programming in a fun and accessible way. Through workshops, games, and hands-on activities, participants learn how technology works and how to bring their ideas to life with code.

Scope

The objective of the call is to foster creativity and support the development of programming skills by encouraging participants to create innovative solutions to specific problems through the use of coding technologies 

Target Groups

  • Teachers working in educational centers in Portugal that promote initiatives related to programming/robotics of all ages and levels of experience

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an active teacher at any educational level in an educational center in Portugal
  • Have experience in coding or technology
  • The project must
    • be related to improving education through technology
    • include a detailed proposal explaining the problem to be solved, the technological solution and the expected impact
    • be innovative and creative 

Funding

  • Total Amount: 2,500 EUR
  • Only one project will be selected

Timeline

Deadline: August 2 

Jury evaluation phase: August 31st 

Activity development phase: until November 30, 2025
