Come learn more about Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality and how they are transforming the way we learn.
In this course, we will present the latest innovations in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the teaching of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) areas.
Virtual Reality is a technology that replaces real-world sensory stimuli with stimuli created by computer simulation, allowing the user to interact with a 3D model or computer-generated virtual environment.
We believe that VR technology is a captivating and effective digital learning method. It is interactive, easy to standardize and features innovative features that can be easily adapted and implemented on virtual platforms.
By preparing the professionals of the future (biomedical engineers, nurses, doctors…), VR allows us to create dynamic clinical environments and provides a more authentic approach to continuous development and problem-solving teaching.
With this course, you will learn the basics of VR and AR, get to know the most popular equipment and software platforms, and see some examples of training programs that use VR to improve their students’ experience.
