Malta Digital Skills and Jobs Platform (LISP)
The objective of the DSEC is to empower the Maltese workforce and students with the necessary digital skills to thrive in the digital age. DSEC acts as a forum where ways how to improve the digital skills gaps, emerging needs and new trends are discussed. The DSEC acts as a consultation platform for:
The development of the relevant necessary skills in relation to innovative technology and/or digital innovation to prepare todays and tomorrow’s Maltese workforce;
The way forward to establish digital reskilling, covering training through consultancy and mentorship programs, with mentorship and training from business coaches, industrial leaders and other on the ground training programs.
What training courses are needed to be delivered and assist in the development of these training courses for workers and apprenticeship opportunities for students with the aim of digital skills advancement.The DSEC collaborates, whenever feasible, with other relevant bodies and centres of competence in order to fulfil its objectives.
