SUMMARY:Engaging Citizens and Civil Society in Cybersecurity
DESCRIPTION:The European Cyber Security COmmunity Project (ECCO)\, in support of the ECCC\, announces its new knowledge-sharing webinar focused on how to engage citizens and civil society in cybersecurity\, that will take place on 19 June 2024 from 12:30 to 13:30 CEST. This online discussion is organised by the ECCO Community Group on Human Factors. \nSummary: \nIn the upcoming webinar on “Engaging Citizens and Civil Society in Cybersecurity”\, we will explore the role that citizens and civil society participation can play in cybersecurity. The first part of the session will discuss why citizen engagement is desirable for ensuring accountability and for enhancing the acceptability of security measures.
