SUMMARY:European Cybersecurity Fest - Vilnius
DESCRIPTION:The shortage of cybersecurity professionals in Europe\, and the world\, is growing. According to the 2025 (ISC)² Cybersecurity Workforce Study\, organisations globally need around 4 million additional cybersecurity professionals to maintain adequate security and address threats. Europe accounts for a substantial portion of this gap\, despite increased investment in cybersecurity education. \nHow can Europe better address cybersecurity skills challenges in an era of AI\, geopolitical threats\, and growing demands for digital sovereignty? This is the question the 2026 edition of the European Cybersecurity Fest poses. \nAbout this event\nJoin the European Cybersecurity Fest on 14 October 2026\, either in person in Vilnius\, Lithuania\, or online. The event will run from 10:00–16:00 EEST (Vilnius local time) for onsite participants and 09:00–15:00 CEST (Brussels time) for online participants. \nThis is a unique opportunity to hear about the replicable model created by CyberHubs\, the European Network of Cybersecurity Skills Hubs. The CyberHubs network brings education\, industry\, and policymakers together to strengthen the cybersecurity skills ecosystem from national level to Europe. You will leave the event with concrete ideas on how you can be a part of an existing CyberHub in your country and build one if you don’t have a CyberHub yet. And what’s more\, you will meet other cybersecurity stakeholders across Europe! \nThemes and topics include \n\nCybersecurity workforce needs and skills gaps across Europe;\nPractical approaches to education-industry collaboration;\nCyberHubs network: a national and cross-border cooperation model;\nDigital tools supporting upskilling and reskilling;\nLong-term sustainability and scalability of the CyberHubs network\n\nParticipants will also discover interactive demonstrations\, real-life use cases\, and concrete examples of collaboration supporting cybersecurity skills development across Europe. \nFurther details and registration\nRegister to secure your spot now! \nMore information is available on this page.
