DESCRIPTION:The Consortium of the PRISM EuroQCI project is organising an exclusive seminar series entitled Quantum Awakening: Pioneering Malta’s Quantum Ecosystem.  \nThese short seminars aim to provide valuable insights into the transformative potential of quantum technologies across various sectors and launch the use case consultation process as part of the Maltese quantum technology ecosystem. \nThe objectives of these seminars are to: \n\nUnderstand the basics of quantum technologies with a focus on quantum communication\nIdentify current and future cybersecurity threats\nExplore practical applications and investment justifications across several industry verticals\nGain insights into the EuroQCI initiative and the local quantum roadmap\nLaunch the use case consultation process and the feedback questionnaire\n\nThe seminar will be taking place at a common Time\, Venue and Speakers as follows: \nTime: 2pm-5pm (two hours of informative presentations and Q&As followed by an optional hour of networking) \nVenue: MITA Data Centre\, Triq il-Ferrovija\, Santa Venera \nSpeakers: Representatives from RSM as PRISM project coordinators; Prof. André Xuereb\, Founder & CEO of Merqury Cybersecurity. \nThese seminars are ideal for senior management teams\, senior technical staff\, Chief Information Officers (CIOs)\, and other professionals.
