DESCRIPTION:On 1 February three Directorates-General of the European Commission—Connect\, DIGIT\, and GROW—are collaborating to host a Brussels workshop on Open Source key areas for Digital Autonomy. The workshop will benefit from the viewpoints of panellists recognized as experts in the workshop topic. \nEvent’s details\nThe event is divided into sessions; the first addresses Cybersecurity in today’s Digital Europe. The second one explores the transformation of automotive design towards connected\, carbon-neutral transport using Software-defined vehicles (SDV). The third panel analyzes the successful implementation and challenges of open-source projects in European public services. Don’t miss the International Webinar to discover the ADELE project and celebrate the launch of the ADELE tool! \nEvent details and registrations\nOrganised by the ADELE project partners\, the International Webinar will: \n\nPresent the ADELE project\nShowcase the accompanying resources and toolkits developed by the project partners (such as a collection of 100 best practices of digital innovation of public libraries)\nOfficially launch the ADELE tool\nWrap up with an interactive Q&A session\n\nThe international webinar will take place on February 1\, 2024\, from 12:00 – 13:00 CET on Zoom. Register your attendance now. \nAbout ADELE\nThe ADELE project is an Erasmus+ funded project bringing together a consortium of partners from Belgium\, Bulgaria\, Ireland\, and Italy to develop a free web-based tool aiming to support adult education organisations reflect on their use of digital technologies and identify areas to develop to ensure they are digitally ready and forward looking. The tool builds upon  the SELFIE tool for schools developed by the European Commission and was tested across a network of 100 European libraries. \nThroughout the project\, the consortium of partners collected 100 best practices of digital innovation in libraries\, which will be presented during the webinar.
