SUMMARY:11th eHealth Security Conference
DESCRIPTION:The EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is organising the 11th eHealth Security Conference\, in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner of Communications. The conference will be a full-day physical event\, hosted by the ICT Academy\, on October 7th\, 2026. \nMedical data and systems have become a major target of cybercrime over the past years. The complex healthcare ecosystem has been facing several cybersecurity challenges and could easily be jeopardised by ransomware\, cybercrime\, malicious actors\, phishing campaigns etc. The eHealth Security Conference will facilitate the exchange of invaluable insights for these growing challenges\, in an effort to fortify the sector’s public and private entities against cyber threats. \nThe event will focus on the aspects related to the implementation of the NIS2 Directive for the health sector\, and will highlight the EHDS\, and other eHealth policy developments. \nIn the same context\, the conference will include sessions dedicated to the constantly changing threat landscape\, the EU action plan for the cybersecurity of hospitals and healthcare providers and the good practices and funding opportunities – inviting experts from different Member States to share their insights and expertise in these topics. \nThe conference is a great opportunity for the participants to remain up to date on latest trends and best practices\, as well as to connect with professionals and industry influencers and to build valuable relationships. \nTarget Audience: \n\nHealthcare IT professionals\nClinical information security professionals\nMedical device manufacturers\nNational healthcare authorities\nCompliance and data privacy professionals\nStandardisation bodies\nAcademia\n\nIn addition to the main event on 7 October\, a networking dinner will take place on 6 October\, followed by a Health Work Stream meeting on 8 October. \nFurther information\, including the event agenda and registration details\, will be published soon on ENISA’s website.
